Have you ever noticed yourself experiencing patterns in your relationships that you don’t like, but don’t know how to get rid of them? For example:
- Do you find yourself always looking after others, but not creating time for yourself?
- Do you often not feel respected by males? or
- Do you find yourself saying the same things to your children that your parents said to you, even though you hated hearing that when you were younger?
To break free of these and other patterns, it helps to first understand the interaction between the subconscious mind and the Law of Attraction in creating our reality.
If you haven’t read or seen “The Secret”, you might not know about the Law of Attraction. In short, it is a Universal principle which causes energies of like frequency to be attracted to each other.
The subconscious mind is like a filing cabinet, filled with millions of memory files. Like everything else in the Universe, these memories are energy, each one oscillating at a specific frequency. The “Law of Attraction” attracts to us experiences that match the frequency of those memories, and those with the greatest emotional charge attract most strongly.
The time during which we are most emotional is our earliest years, before we learn to control our emotions. Because of this, and our parents’ influence on our life during these years, our subconscious will usually give greatest importance to our relationships with our mother and father.
In most cases, our relationship with Mom will be a good predictor of later patterns in our relationships with women. Likewise, our relationship with Dad will be a good predictor of our relationships with men. And, we also assume our parents “marriage energy” which is useful to know when trying to identify the source of marriage relationship and parenting patterns.
If you have a pattern you’d like to understand better, we’d be happy to help you discover its source and release its energy and attracting power.
