Penis size is a much talked about topic when it comes to sexual pleasure, and is known to deeply effect the self-image feelings in men. But did you know that what you do with your penis effects it’s size and shape? If you want a bigger penis, you have to work it!
The last article we wrote about keeping your penis healthy was about doing male kegel exercises. These exercises will give you stronger orgasms, and will help with staying power. The muscle that works out is the PC (Pubo Coccygeal) muscle. While this is an important muscle to keep healthy, it does little to contribute to the overall size and thickness of your penis. So, continue doing kegel excercises and let’s look at how you can effect the size, shape, and thickness of your penis as well.
The overall size and thickness of the penis is determined by two muscles, the Ishcio Cavernous (IC), and Bulb Cavernous (BC). These two voluntary muscles wrap around the shaft of the penis. When they are pumped and contracted, they give rigidity and thickness to the penis and can be excercised to gain in both the size and shape. Think of them as any other muscle, if you work them, they are big and firm and ready for action, if you quit working out, they still work, but lose their size and shape. Look at any weight lifter that quits working out after a few years and you’ll see the point we are trying to make. The penis is no different than that.
For increased penis size, and a better sex life for you, let’s start with some penis lifts, these can be done daily, but I would suggest starting with just a couple times a week and then building up to more as you go.
- Sit at the edge of a chair or toilet seat and make your penis fully erect.
- Hang a small towel over the base of the penis and contract the muscles to make the erection stand all the way up against the resistance of the towel.
- Hold the up position for three seconds and then work up to about five seconds at a time. Do five reps for three sets to begin with and work up to ten reps for five sets.
- As you get stronger add resistance by wetting the towel or by using a larger towel and moving it up closer to the head of your penis.
Doing these exercises will give you much better control over your erections and help your increase your staying power.
This next exercise is highly recommended and is a 5,000 year old system developed in Sudan Africa. The young African men were taught this and used it to prepare for marriage by increasing their penis size and improving their sexual skills. It’s called Jelqing.
The jelq workout should be done in daily sessions lasting ten to thirty minutes. Before you begin this exercise, and then afterward, you want to apply a hot compress on the genitals. You can use a hot towel for this, as hot as what is comfortable. This will warm the tissues up and is important to begin to increase the flow of blood to the penis. It can also help reduce any pain or bruising, but we highly suggest you avoid getting to that point with your workout. Try to listen to your body and just do gentle repetitions.
After your hot compress, you want to use some lube, don’t be shy with the lube, it’s an important part of this workout. Then starting with a semi-erect penis, never on an erect penis, encircle the base of your penis with one hand. It will be like making an “okay” signal with your fingers around the very base of your penis. Ensure that no blood escapes. You are then going to “milk” your penis using your other hand to move towards the head of your penis, forcing the blood towards the end of your penis. If the urge to ejaculate begins to overwhelm you, then stop this workout for the day and try it again later as you do not want to ejaculate during this excercise.
As you continue your jelq workouts, the spongy bodies (The corpora cavernosa and the corpus spongiosum) will rebuild themselves and begin to expand. The ligaments of the penis (Suspensory ligament) will become lengthened making your penis stronger and larger as well as the tissues inside repair themselves. In a few months time, you will notice an improvement in penis size, in the girth and length. Long-time practitioners of this workout have claimed up to several inches of length are possible.
